Chocolate on a plate

A basic exercise in rendering chocolate in a physically correct way. With some Photoshop work to get more color out of the picture.

Chocolate on a plate, final image after some Photoshop to correct little bits of intersecting geometry and color correction.

Wireframe of the shot. The praline with the pink filling was sculpted in Modo to add more volume to the filling. The white cubes on the rear praline are all instances of a few candys that I have made.
